CRS Azure digital water service provider platform

Azure is an investment platform that finances water system expansion and improvements for small service providers. Catholic Relief Services (CRS) provides the capital and technical assistance.

The participating providers need reliable data in order to prove their creditworthiness and secure investments, so CRS turned to mWater to build a scalable data platform for Azure partners.

The Azure monitoring and evaluation platform is a management information system (MIS) that allows water service providers to map their physical assets, track their finances, and report on their performance against standard sector indicators. Azure currently operates in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras, with plans to expand to other countries where CRS works.
